Blue Flags and Sunshine

Tourists from all over the world spend their holidays on the 150km of Malaga coastline every year.

No wonder with such variety and quality. From the rocky and beautiful Maro in Nerja to the untouched dunes of Cabo Pino, the Costa del Sol has beaches for all types of tourists.

This year, 22 blue flags are flying on the beaches of the Costa del Sol, four more than last summer. The blue flags are awarded by the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (Adeac) to beaches that stand out for their quality and compliance with certain environmental requirements. In addition to these 22 beaches, 5 other Malaga ports have blue flags.

There are a myriad of reasons to visit the Málaga province, and now there are 27 more!
